This “Baby Walkman” phone belongs to the lower end of the mobile phone market. The quad-band Sony Ericsson W300i if right for you if you are a jetsetter as it has a flight mode that allows you to enjoy your music even at high altitude. Sonly Ericsson W300i is the first clamshell phone in the Walkman series. It is light at 94 grams and looks tiny when closed. The funky design will appeal to the younger users with its shimmer, rounded edges and bubble influenced shape plus a lanyard hook. The groovy keypad houses orange backlit number buttons in overlapping circles. It has 20 MB of on board memory plus a Memory Stick Micro of 256 MB. There is a VGA camera with 640 x 480 resolution monitor. The music related features include USB cable and music software for transferring music such as Bluetooth and infrared or by attaching by music file to email or by MMS. Apart from the FM radio there is a sound recorder, video recorder and DJ software that lets you experiment with the audio and video files.

The Swivel designed Sony Ericsson Walkman W900 is a 3G enabled phone. You will find the large screen a convenient feature. The flip opens at 180 degrees to reveal a large keyboard. The key lock slider doubles up as a flash activator and there is no lens cover. There is a choice of call or music at start-up. The single speaker is mounted on the back of the handset. A power button and a slide lock are provided to prevent accidental operation allowing you to relax. The phone has 470 MB of memory with Memory Stick Duo port.
