Acer has smartly manufactured Acer beTouch E101 which is also known as Acer E1. It is a mid ranged mobile phone comprised with plethora of useful mobile applications that you can use everyday.

The facade of the Acer E101 is furnished with 3.2 inches TFT resistive touchscreen with 240 x 400 pixels resolution and 65k colours. Additionally, it has been merged with Accelerometer sensor and Gesture lock. Its physical dimensions are 113 x 56 x 12.8 mm and the total weight of the device is 118 grams.

The phone works over 2G network covering GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 and comes with Microsoft Windows Mobile 6.5 Professional OS and Qualcomm MSM 7225 528 MHz processor so the phone is responsive and quick to multi task. Users can access web easily and visit to their favourite websites with the help of HTML browser. The phone is imparted with 256MB RAM, 512MB ROM memory and you can extend your phone’s memory capabilities through card slot which accepts microSD (TransFlash) memory card.

The 2 megapixel camera is located at the back of the phone that will let you take pictures at 1600×1200 pixels resolution and also you can record videos through it but don’t expect video calling facility. Furthermore, Acer E101 is not having FM radio but incorporated with MP3/WAV/WMA/eAAC+ player and MP4/WMV/H.264/H.263 player for rendering compete multimedia feel.

The phone is integrated with Pocket Office feature that means users will get to use all programs like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, PDF viewer. GPS with A-GPS support is also provided on Acer beTouch E101. Although the device is not 3G and Wi-Fi capable but still there are many features that ensure that the phone can be connected to other compatible devices and those include GPRS, EDGE, USB and Bluetooth.

Acer E101 comes with easy to use communication features known as SMS (threaded view), MMS, Email and Instant Messaging so it’s very easy to stay connected with your contacts whenever you want. The rechargeable battery of the phone can provide standby time up to 400 hours and talk time up to 5 hours at its properly charged position.
