Nokia 6650- An Elegantly designed mobile phone

Nokia has launched its new clamshell smart phone Nokia 6650 to impress the audiences. A-GPS receiver is also integrated in this device that provides easy navigation through Nokia maps. External display of this innovatively designed Nokia 6650 contains touch sensitive keys thereby providing friendliness with the interface of device.

Physical design

The exterior of this design is covered with brushed steel that provides a cool look to overall appearance. Weight of this device is 120 gm that give a solid feel to Nokia 6650 In the middle of exterior, secondary display is situated that provides the color resolution of 128 x 160 pixels and has capability to present the color scheme of 262 million colors. Touch sensitive keys outfitted at the exterior of device are basically employed to perform limited functions. Three keys have been provided for scrolling through various menus; on the left side of this Nokia 6650, volume control keys have been also made available. Below these touch sensitive keys, a loudspeaker is also integrated in this device that enables the users to make this device hands free. A Nokia 6650 logo of T mobile is also engraved in metallic covering of handset. The keypad is stylishly designed and all keys and symbols are slightly raised. Bottom side of this mobile phone is manufactured from grey plastic and an antenna is also situated at the bottom.

Both 2G and 3G techniques have been acquired by this Nokia 6650; network supported are GSM 900, 850, 1900, 1800, HSDPA 2100 and HSDPA 900.
Internal memory supported by this handset is of 30 mega bytes that can be further expanded using external memory slots. This expanded storage area enables the users to store detailed call record of previous 30 days.
For ensuring fast data transfer, much advanced techniques offered are GPRS, EDGE, HSCSD, HSDPA and Bluetooth technology with latest version v2.0 with A2DP.
