Samsung has dropped the camera for the Galaxy S7 to 12MP

Samsung has plans to release its upcoming Galaxy S7 in the next three months, so it’s not a surprise that the phone has leaked again. Now, there are reports that the Korean giant could drop down the camera of the Galaxy S7 smartphone to 12MP count. The predecessor, Galaxy S6, had a camera with 16MP count. So, the count of 12MP is quite low for the upcoming Samsung phone.

This new information has come out from the Chinese social networking website, Weibo, where the reports were posted by AnTuTu regulatory authority. We say that a particular phone is benchmarked when a tester is put against the phones and their exact specifications are compared against each other.
However, you should not worry as a 12MP count is enough to click poster quality images. Also, we know that the 12.3 MP camera of the Nexus 6P phone was a great success last year.  The cameras are not only limited to the mega pixels but to much more. We know Apple iPhone 6S also sports a 12MP snapper and gives some of the best pictures than any other phone.

Samsung’s Galaxy S7 has a 5.1 inch display with 2,560 x 1,440 pixels resolution and 4GB RAM for faster processing. There is an internal storage of 64GB which can also be expanded because Samsung has introduced a microSD slot in this phone. This handset is expected to get rolled out at the MWC event on 22nd February.
